Join us for a program highlighting mindfulness, emotions, and our relationships with others. This course consists of meditative exercises as well as theoretical discussions, stories, poetry, and inspiring quotes about how we can use mindfulness as a way to process our emotions, and manage our interpersonal relationships. This program will be held weekly on Sundays on June 7, 14, 21, and 27 from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm. Registration required.
Presented by Toru Sato. Toru Sato received his Ph.D. in Psychology at York University in Canada and currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Shippensburg University. He is passionate about studying emotions, human relationships, and consciousness. He is the author of "Two, One, None: Conversations on Meditations" and "The Ever-Transcending Spirit: The Psychology of Human Relationships, Consciousness, and Development" as well as numerous essays, book chapters, and research articles. He also offers guided meditations on a YouTube channel entitled Last Leaf Meditations. As a mindfulness coach, Toru has also had the privilege to work one on one with numerous individuals on their personal development mainly in the areas of human relationships, emotions, and mindfulness skills.
