Cumberland County, PA - Aging & Community Services For those who can no longer remain safely, we assist in the transition to the facility-based care they need. Users may only post their own, original content.

The core focus of our office is to support older adults, adults with disabilities and others who are at risk of losing their independence to remain in the community as long as possible. Social Media Policy:

Users are welcome to submit or post content, including photographs and videos, to an official county social media page where the agency allows users to post content. The content shall pertain

to the subject of the social media site and not violate the comment policy articulated below. Users should have no expectation of privacy when posting publicly to a county site. Comments and posts made to these pages are reviewed and may be hidden if it includes one (1) or more of the following.

1. Obscene, indecent or profane language, pictures, or videos.
2. Threats, personal attacks, or defamatory statements.
3. Hate speech directed at race, color, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, religion, or disability.
4. Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading information.
5. Comments not related to the posted topic for the county social media page or post.
6. Multiple, successive, off-topic posts by a single user or repetitive posts copied and pasted by multiple users, or spam.
7. Promotion or endorsement of commercial services and products.
8. Comments advocating illegal activity or posting of material that violates copyrights or trademarks of others.
9. Violation of any local, state, or federal laws or is otherwise unlawful.
10. Campaign materials promoting or opposing, individuals or political parties. We are not responsible for a post or comment from an individual or group; however, we reserve the right to hide any post that violates our county policy. Comments and content posted on our county sites may be subject to public disclosure. Communications posted on this page will not be construed as satisfying requirements for legal notice or service, shall not be considered official public comment, and shall not be construed as an official request for records pursuant to the Right-to-Know Law.
