Good morning! It is a beautiful day at AHEC and your CBSC board and volunteers are all set up to earn some money for military scholarships! Come on out and join us… It is not too late to register this morning if you want to get a headstart on some Thanksgiving week exercise!

T-shirts for early registrants can be picked up tomorrow at check-in (unless you were notified about a shipping delay for your size or color). We will see you in the morning... Dress warmly!

A few quick notes: check-in begins at 9; the race starts at 10. If the friend you want to bring with you hasn’t registered yet, no worries: we will have same-day registration available. 😁

Please remember that participants must walk or run only. Strollers are welcome, but please No bikes or scooters.

If you’re headed out of town early for Thanksgiving, make it a family affair and run/walk with us virtually! We’re looking forward to seeing virtual participants’ photos on our page (use ).

Welcome to CBSC's 3T5K information page! Here you can find all the information you'll need about our fun run (or walk/bike/swim/row, whatever you want!) on November 20.

CBSC is a 501(c)(7) all-volunteer organization serving military spouses in and around the Carlisle Barracks, PA community. In the last ten years, CBSC has raised and reinvested more than $100,000 into our military community in the form of scholarship grants.

Carlisle Barracks is home to the US Army War College. Our Thucydides Turkey Trot is named for a historian about whom the War College students study during their rigorous academic program. The 5K is a great community builder... there will be food and fun for the family, thanks to AHEC, MWR, and our CBSC volunteers. Registration is $35 before October 25; $40 after October 25. Participants (in-person AND virtual) will receive a swag bag, including a race t-shirt.

A 5K fundraiser named in recognition of the AWC student body’s “favorite” historian, Thucydides. Registrants will receive a race swag bag, which includes a T-shirt and other 3T5K items. This 5K is considered a fun run; no times will be kept nor will awards be given.
