The KY Army National Guard conducted a medical, gas mask, and night vision goggle training session at Mason County High School on 10 March 2026. On December 30th 2025 Christian Trejo a senior from Bourbon County High School enlisted into the Kentucky Army National Guard as a 91D Power Supply Generator Specialist. He qualified for a $20k enlistment Bonus. 100% College tuition. Gets paid to go to college $831 a month tax exempt on top of his month drill pay. I am very proud of this young man's commitment to furthering his education and utilizing the benefits the National Guard provides as well as his commitment to serving the great state of Kentucky and representing Bourbon County High School.

4. Health Insurance single $50.00 a month Family $230.00 a month. Tricare Reserve Select
5. Dental insurance
6. Life insurance up to $500,000.00 for $31.00 a month.
7. State Tax exempt on all military pay
8. Travel benefits and discounts at thousands of locations.
9. 2 Free Bags on airlines up to 99 lbs on most airlines (weight may differ on some)
