Today I hit 10 years in my military career, and let me tell you, a lot can happen in a decade. It feels like just yesterday I was a senior at Lower Dauphin High School swearing into the Army National Guard. Since November 2011 I have made the best memories, best friends, traveled numerous places across the US and deployed, gained so much experience, met people across the world, and so much more. Looking back, it was all worth it.
The hard times that pushed me to wanting to quit. Facing any and all fears, and not letting them stop me. The leadership experience that tested me at a young age and developed the person I am today in uniform and out of it. The friends I’ve made at various military schools and the ones close to home. The importance of being physically fit that the Army has instilled in me. Lastly, now being able to afford others those possibilities and opportunities. Nothing will top that.
Everything comes full circle, and I cannot wait to see where the next 20 years takes me! These pictures are only a slight glimpse of the fun times. Enjoy!🇺🇸
