Army University's new website is LIVE, marking a key milestone in our mission to reform PME and shape Army education.

This is a transformation of how we connect the Total Force to the educational resources needed to win in a complex world. Hosted on the secure AFPIMS platform, the new www.army.edu is a central hub for our unified education enterprise.

Here’s how this supports the mission:

• Develops Adaptive Leaders: Provides streamlined access to the rigorous and relevant curriculum from all our colleges and organizations, preparing Soldiers and civilians to think critically and act decisively.

• Drives Modernization: A modern, mobile-responsive platform ensures you can access courses, research, and resources anytime, anywhere, supporting a career of lifelong learning.

• Unifies the Enterprise: Better integration with other DoD platforms helps us create a coherent learning ecosystem for the entire Total Force.

Explore the new site and see how we are building the leaders of tomorrow, today!

A New Chapter for NCO Development and Education.

Today, March 6, the U.S. Army is announcing the redesignation of the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence to the United States Army Noncommissioned Officer Academy (USANCOA). This isn’t just a name change, it’s a reaffirmation of USANCOA’s commitment to the career-long learning and development of enlisted leaders.

From its origins as the Sergeants Major Academy in 1972, the institution has stood as the cornerstone of NCO professional military education. The new name, USANCOA, clearly defines its role as the single, unified academic body for all enlisted Professional Military Education (PME), from the Basic Leader Course to the Sergeants Major Course.

This redesignation to an “Academy” reinforces the structured, progressive, and sequential learning that defines an NCO’s career. It signifies that the education of our newest NCOs is just as vital as the capstone instruction provided to our most senior enlisted leaders.

All enlisted PME now falls under one clear academic banner, providing a logical and intuitive path for every Soldier’s leadership journey.

Recently, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College Department of Joint, Interagency, and Multinational Operations instructor retired U.S. Army colonel Michael Gibler and retired U.S Army lieutenant colonel and Art of War Scholars Program Director Dr. Matthew Broaddus were inducted to the Order of St. Michael Airborne in a special ceremony hosted by CGSC Commandant Col. Ethan Diven, who was also recently inducted.

Dr. Gibler was presented the Archangel, or highest level of induction. Dr. Broaddus was presented the Guardian, or second highest, level of induction. Also, inducted was MAJ Walter Gradzik, at the Angelic level. Gradzik is a member of the Mission Command Training Program.

Induction to the Order of St. Michael Airborne, presented by the National Infantry Association, reflects a dedication and significant support to the Airborne community. Each inductee must have served in the Airborne, Glider, Freefall or Air Assault communities. Inductees also represent the highest standards of integrity, moral character, professional competence, and dedication to duty.

The induction of CGSC instructors is yet another example of the world-class faculty dedicated to the educating .

Congratulations to these three individuals.
