As the only BLS ambulance service contracted with Blaine County Ambulance District, we would like to add some information. The majority of our crew are EMT-basics with optional modules. The optional modules allow us to do everything an Advanced EMT would do EXCEPT give a few medications they are allowed to give. We begin care before turning you over to the paramedic or flight crew. For the people within the Carey Fire Protection District our crews ensure that you recieve emergency care in a timely fashion.

What is BLS and ALS? Basic Life Support (BLS) includes CPR and basic stabilization. Advanced Life Support (ALS) includes paramedic care such as IV medications and heart monitoring.

Come learn the basics of CPR, AED use and Stop the bleed techniques. Saturday March 14th from 1pm to 3 pm. Ages 10 and up welcome, but we ask that a parent accompany kids aged 10 to 15.

We ended 2025 with 139 calls for service. Those included some fun things like the Carey Days and 4th of July Parade, Trunk or Treat and Meet the fleet (at the hailey airport). In addition to responding to calls we taught CPR for the high school health class, ran a rally stop for the QRU NonProfit Organization motorcycle rally, and held an EMT class.

We look forward to continuing to serve this community. Have a safe and healthy new year.

Blaine County has been notified by our Community Notification provider, CodeRED, that their system was attacked by an organized cybercriminal group and some user data was compromised.

The stolen information may include:
• Name
• Address
• Email
• Phone number
• Passwords connected to CodeRED accounts

What you should do now:
1. If you use the same password on other accounts, change those passwords right away.
2. Stay alert for suspicious emails, calls, or texts and monitor your accounts and personal information.

At this time, there is no evidence the stolen data has been published, but we encourage everyone to take precautions.

Blaine County is continuing to work with CodeRED for community notifications, while also evaluating alternative systems moving forward. We will share more information as it becomes available.
