Te𝑎 is the m𝑎gic of ordin𝑎ry moments. 🫖

Heartfelt thank you to Community Partner Jo Gemmill and the English Rose Tea Room for hosting a lovely (and a little bit “fancy”) afternoon mixer for the Foothills Caring Corps staff and Board of Directors.

The tea, the *delicious* scones, the hospitality, and the stunning atmosphere made us all feel quite special. Caring Corps staff had the opportunity to spend time with both new and returning Board members, and we all took this moment to slow down and connect.

Most importantly, it was another wonderful reminder that COMMUNITY is at the heart of everything we do. Meaningful partnerships and spaces that bring people together truly, truly matter.

Jo. Thank you, thank you for your generosity, kindness, and support of Caring Corps through the years.

*And as always, shout out to Jen and Tech 4 Life Computers and Websites for running the Community Partners program. It continues to strengthen the beautiful and vital bridges between businesses and non-profits.

At today’s Memory Café, we had a dog show! Maybe not the ‘perfect gait’ or ‘best in show’ kind, but DEFINITELY the smile-generating kind! 🐕🐩

There’s something about dogs. They show up. Not with judgment or advice. They show up with comfort and unconditional love. Our attendees got to experience that today.

Each month, our Memory Café has a different theme designed to spark joy, engagement, and meaningful moments for individuals experiencing memory loss and their caregivers. It’s become such an important monthly gathering, creating support and connection. (And today…some wagging tails and belly rubs.)

Memory Café is open to the community and free of charge.
Every 3rd Thursday, 10am.

Possibly the CUTEST donation to come our way! 🤗

A huge THANK YOU to the Kiwanis Kids Club at Desert Willow Elementary School for choosing Foothills Caring Corps as the recipient of their “Coins for a Cause” campaign!

These amazing, thoughtful students researched local nonprofits, learned about community needs, and decided they wanted to help Neighbors through Caring Corps. We are so incredibly touched and we are excited for a future with these young people in the world.

And a very special shout out to Desert Willow 1st grade teacher Miss Hadley Moritz for her leadership, encouragement, and for reaching out to let us know what these kids were up to. Teaching compassion, community involvement, and kindness at such a young age makes a lasting impact. You are doing important and intentional work, Miss Moritz. 🩵

To the Kiwanis Kids Club: THANK YOU for reminding us that you are never too young to make a difference! Have a fun, safe summer and we will see you in the Fall to let you know what we’ve been up to and how your donation has helped!

Monday’s Ball Wash Open & After Party!!
From a full day of golf (and some beverage samples 😏) to an evening packed with incredible food, live music, raffles, and auctions. It was a blast.

And it all wasn’t just about fun, it was about impact. We’re so grateful to have been one of the nonprofits supported through this event. Every swing, slice of prime rib, raffle ticket…helped make a difference for the Neighbors we serve. 🩵

A huge huge THANK YOU to Jim, Danny, and the entire Harold's Corral crew, along with the amazing Ball Wash Committee and all the volunteers for pouring so much energy, generosity, and heart into this event. You brought back something truly special! And not just for the golfers, but for the entire community.

And to everyone who came out, played, donated, sponsored, bid on an item…thank you!! You showed up in a big way, and it means more than you know.

Same time next year?
We’ll start hydrating now.💧

Here’s a little 🫧SQEAKY CLEAN🧽 gratitude:

A huge thank you to CAVE CREEK CAR WASH for washing our fleet of vans, on the house. Because of their generosity, our rides are looking *extra fly* as they head out around town.

Caring Corps vans are more than just vehicles. They help our Neighbors get to doctor appointments and social gatherings; they help keep some of the most vulnerable in town connected and cared for. And of course, when the community needs them, we do our best to make that happen, too. They are a true community resource. 🚙🩵

And thanks to Cave Creek Car Wash, they’re looking their very best.
