Due to increasing fire danger and dry conditions, the Town of Carbondale has enacted Stage 1 Fire Restrictions effective today June 10, 2026.
These restrictions are intended to reduce the risk of wildfires and help protect our community, visitors, property, and first responders.

Officers Tessa and Jeanine traded in their patrol cars for the dance floor and joined a local class for an morning of fitness, fun, and community connection. Building relationships happens both on and off duty, and we're always grateful for opportunities to engage with our community in new ways.

We’re happy to share that Linda has been found.
Thank you to everyone for your vigilance and support during this time. We appreciate the community’s assistance.

MISSING & ENDANGERED PERSON
The Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Linda Edwards, 77 years old, who has Parkinson’s.
Linda was last seen in the area of Carbondale Senior Housing. She was wearing a black coat, white baseball hat, and was using a red walker.
If you see Linda or have any information about her whereabouts, please call the Carbondale Police Department immediately at (970) 963-2662 or dial 911.
Please share to help us bring Linda home safely.
