After being in operation for 25 years, Family Resource Center remains dedicated to supporting families, and evolves to meet the current needs, trends and issues facing our community’s vulnerable populations. Our daily work is carried out by school-and community-based, bicultural and biliterate liaisons who have built trusting relationships with families.Using a two-generation, strengths-based appr
oach, liaisons partner with families to help them meet their goals and build self-reliance. Working together, they address basic needs such as food, housing and utilities, transportation and clothing; secure services for medical, vision, dental and mental health care; increase financial literacy; build parenting skills and more. Family Resource Center of the Roaring Fork Schools is a proud member of Family Resource Center Association (FRCA). Working with 32 member centers, FRCA provides public advocacy, capacity building, and resource development to strengthen its statewide network of family resource centers as they bring help and hope to Colorado families.
