Getting ready for a child to enter kindergarten this fall? Come by the library and grab a FREE kindergarten readiness bag! These bags are filled with materials to use over the summer to prepare for the transition into kindergarten.

TOMORROW! 🪡🧵

Do you have some clothing that needs repair? Are you curious about visible mending? Do you like keeping clothing out of landfills? If you answered yes to any of these, join us for Monthly Mending Club every 4th Wednesday from 5:30-7:30PM!

Basic mending materials including thread, needles and some patches will be provided. All skill levels welcome–just bring a piece of clothing that you would like to repair and enjoy mending alongside others.

WANTED: TEEN VOLUNTEERS! 📣

The Carbondale Public Library is seeking reliable and responsible teens ages 13-17 to volunteer in the library this summer. Teens will assist with events for the Summer Reading Program. They will also perform various tasks such as shelving, straightening, confirming item records and cleaning. Volunteers will gain valuable work experience and receive a t-shirt! Apply by filling out this google form: https://register.carbondalepubliclibrary.org/teenvolunteer
