Please help support the Carbondale City Library on Monday, October 16th at 7:00 pm by attending the Public Hearing being held during the City Council Meeting. The hearing is at the top of the agenda therefore should be brief and is being held in regard to the resolution to purchase bonds. Your continued support has been vital and has not gone unappreciated. We sincerely Thank You and hope to see you Monday night.

The sales for ducks are wrapping up. September 14th will be the last day we can accept the pamphlets, but online sales will continue until Saturday, September 16th at 9:00 am.

The sales for the Sertoma Great Topeka Duck Race are coming to an end. The final day to accept forms will be Thursday, September 14th. If you, or someone you know, is interested in purchasing a duck, or twenty, contact us here on our page or there are forms at Carbondale City Library. Save a stamp and fill the form out at the Library and we will turn your form in for you.

Saturday from 8am - 4pm members of the Library Fundraising Committee will be outside Casey's, here in Carbondale, selling ducks! Not live ducks but chances to win at the Sertoma Duck Race in Topeka!

For every duck, or group of ducks, we sell we'll get half for the Library! And for every family of ducks (or greater) you buy on Saturday we've got a small thank you gift (it might be duck shaped)!

Watcha doing Saturday? Got an extra $5 or maybe $20? Maybe even $50 or $100?

The Library Fundraising Committee will be outside Casey's in Carbondale from 8am - 4pm selling ducks for the Sertoma Duck Race that happens in Topeka in a couple weeks. For every duck or group of ducks we sell, the Library will get half!

In addition, you'll get entered to win some fabulous prizes (Dillons and HyVee gift cards, Great Wolf Lodge stay, cash, and Zoo passes, to name a few). You fill out the form and they'll contact you if you win so you don't have to be present!
