Stop by the library on July 2 as we celebrate America's 250th!

🦖 Join the Lackawanna County Library System and Paleontologists Mike Straka and Roberta Straka throughout the month of August for “Dinosaur Expedition Adventure.” Mike and Roberta will be showing their fossil collection, highlighting the traits of carnivorous dinosaurs, and showcasing an Albertosaurus skull. Kids will also be able to dig up a Triceratops bone and help reconstruct the dinosaur. This program is intended for Ages 5 through 12.

Register with your local library. Registration is limited.

🪏 Join the Lackawanna County Library System and the Everhart Museum of Natural History, Science & Art for “Art with the Everhart” throughout the month of August. Children Ages 7 through 10 will have the chance to act as junior scientists as they observe specimens, create clay fossil imprints, and document their discoveries through imaginative storytelling and art.

Registration is limited. Register at your local Library.

SummerQuest starts TODAY so, dig in, because we have a lot of fun programs and activities happening this week! Any program that requires registration will have a link in the descriptions for online registration. Otherwise, please feel free to call the library to register at 570-282-4281. What stories will you unearth this summer?
