Many individuals who come to our shelter arrive with little to no access to reliable transportation. Without gas money, a vehicle, a bike, or even funds for a ride from a transportation service like Uber, something as simple as getting from point A to point B becomes a major barrier to rebuilding their lives.
This challenge impacts nearly every step forward - whether it’s getting to work, attending a doctors appointment, or showing up for a job interview.
While we do everything we can to support our residents, we simply don’t have the resources to ensure everyone has safe, dependable transportation. That’s where our community can make a life-changing difference.
