We would like to give a huge shout out to these two; Toni Perkins and Regina Glover. Monday was their last day serving on our Board. They both played an important role in reopening the club’s doors back in 2024.

We will miss having them around but we know we will always have their support.

Help us celebrate Juneteenth! We’ll have a table at the event representing the club, so it’s a great chance to stop by, connect, and learn more about the work we’re doing in the community.

In addition to the celebration, there will also be a community service donation drive benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Illinois. This effort helps support local youth by providing essential resources and opportunities that make a lasting impact.

The ICCS silent auction is currently underway, concluding at 8:30 p.m. central on June 27th. Interested parties can bid on exceptional items in support of the Illinois Coalition for Community Services. The Boys & Girls Club is launching a Beautification Project at the Eurma C. Hayes Center designed to create a safe and welcoming environment for youth and families. This project will transform our outdoor spaces through landscaping improvements and facility enhancements.

We are grateful for the generosity shown by members of our community to support the Beautification Project. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Lowe's Garden Center Manager, Layah Jones for their donation of beautiful flowers and shrubs that will help bring color, beauty, and lasting impact to our outdoor spaces.

We are seeking in-kind donations of materials, equipment, and services from local businesses and community partners. Contributions of any size will help create a vibrant outdoor space that promotes recreation, environmental stewardship, and community pride.
