Friends of the Carbondale City Library has installed a new President to steer our ship! Aimee Craig has taken over the helm and will point us in the right direction!

If you are a FoCCL member, please message her with your email and phone number so she has an updated roster. Dues are $10 and were collected at our last meeting.

We are gearing up for the book sale which will be held during the City-wide garage sales on April 11th & 12th.

We will need volunteers to get this up and going. We will have a short meeting April 10th at 6:30pm and then set up for the book sale following the meeting.

Friends of the Carbondale City Library:

We had a quick meeting last night to iron out the details of our responsibility of Christmas in Carbondale this Sunday. We had several people volunteer to help work that day (just refilling snack items, so I think we are covered there, but feel free to come help if you wish). The more the merrier!

We still need volunteers to bring snacks. These don't have to be homemade - bagged Chex Mix, for example - works great or cheese and cracker plates.

Last year we know we had over 100 people at one time in the programming room, and this is an open house event that will have lots of people moving in and out. I think we will be blessed with beautiful weather again and hope to have a great crowd!

If you are unavailable Sunday for dropping off snacks, you are welcome to drop them off in the kitchen anytime before. We are open 12-7 Thursday, 9-5 Friday and 9-12 Saturday.

I will have the doors open for cookie contest entries, Sunday at 2:00. If none of these times work for you, let us know and we can make other arrangements.
