Carbon Hill PD The Carbon Hill Police Department Illegal drug use is a major problem in Carbon Hill.

Other crimes such as domestic violence, robbery, burglary, r**e, murder, and theft can usually be traced back to illegal drug use. Carbon Hill Police Department has adopted a zero tolerance for illegal drugs. Police Chief Antoine Cobb along with fellow officers at CHPD have declared war on drugs and those persons who choose to sell and use illegal drugs in our community.

⚠️The Carbon Hill Storm Shelter is open now and will remain open through the severe weather event. The shelter is located beside the Old Blue Gym just off of Nauvoo road. No pets are allowed. Carbon Hill Police Department is accepting applications for full time police officers. APOSTC certified. Benefits package includes the following:

BCBS insurance 70/30
40 hrs paid vacation after 1 year of service
80 hrs paid vacation after 3 years of service
2 personal leave days per year
15 paid holidays + Employee Birthday
Can accumulate up to 30 sick days

Starting pay scale:

Under 2 years Experience: $19hr
Over 2 years Experience: $20hr
