I’m excited to share that my campaign website is now live!

Over the past several weeks, I’ve been working with friends, supporters, and volunteers to create a website that reflects who I am, why I’m running, and what I hope to bring to Capitola City Council.

As a longtime Capitola and Santa Cruz County resident, I care deeply about our community, our small businesses, our neighborhoods, and preserving what makes Capitola such a special place to call home.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, and thank you to everyone who has offered encouragement and support along the way. This is just the beginning!

Honored to attend the Be the Difference Awards today at the Coconut Grove in Santa Cruz on behalf of Think Local First.

We were incredibly grateful to receive the Be the Difference Award from the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County in recognition of the work being done to support local businesses and strengthen our community.

Think Local First was also honored with recognitions from Congressman Jimmy Panetta, Senator John Laird, and Assemblymember Gail Pellerin.

This recognition truly belongs to the many local businesses, volunteers, board members, and community supporters who continue to show up for Santa Cruz County every day.

A special acknowledgment to our President, Janet Romanowski, whose leadership and dedication continue to drive Think Local First forward, even though she could not be there today.

Grateful for organizations and people who continue investing in our local communities and reminding us that local connection still matters.

Thank you to the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz for hosting such a meaningful event.

Congratulations to Sergeant Evans, recipient of the 2026 Herb Ross Officer of the Year award! Well deserved recognition for dedication and service to our community. And of course… congratulations to the adorable puppy partner too. 🐾

Especially meaningful during National Police Week as we recognize and thank the men and women in law enforcement who serve and protect our communities every day.

Thank you to all of our officers and first responders for your professionalism, commitment, and service to Capitola.

Well… today I did a thing 😊

Today I officially filed my FPPC Form 501 as I begin the process of running for Capitola City Council.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve this community in many different ways, and I care deeply about Capitola, its residents, businesses, neighborhoods, and unique character.

As I move forward, one of my biggest goals is to listen, to hear what residents feel are the most important issues facing our city and what they want Capitola’s future to look like.

I believe thoughtful leadership starts with community conversation, practical solutions, respect for differing perspectives, and a genuine commitment to serving the people who call Capitola home.

I’m looking forward to the journey ahead and to connecting with many of you along the way.
Stay tuned for more!
