Aunt Helen's House In April 2013, We purchased my Aunt Helen's beach house in Cape May, NJ. We changed the 4 second floor bedrooms with new beds and bedding.

She owned this house for 40 years and when she put it on the market almost 2 years ago, I just couldn't imagine it leaving our family so here we are. Starting in Spring 2013, we did a few renovations....a new roof, new foundation (yes, new foundation), & added air conditioning & heat. More renovations will continue in the next few weeks....including converting the attic into a large bedroom. After

the summer, the hardwood floors will be done, first floor closet will be converted into a powder room...and many more projects. We are hoping to have it ready for Fall rentals (long weekends hopefully starting in October) and it will be 100% completed for late Spring/Summer 2014. Spring 2020 the 150 year old exterior of the house got a full “facelift.” New clapboards/trim, new screened in porch, freshly painted, & new outdoor shower! Fast forward to Late 2020/early 2021 we started phase 3 of renovations.....completely updating the main full bathroom, converting the open attic to the 5th bedroom and adding a full bathroom in the 3rd floor as well. All work will be completed by the end of March 2021!

After waiting for MONTHS, the new sectional is in! Also added the new swivel chair which came in 48 hours 😆!
