Cape May County Fare Free Transportation Demand Response Bus Service for the residents of Cape May County This service is offered to all residents of Cape May County aged 18 years and above.

Fare Free Transportation is a department of Cape May County Government that provides safe, efficient and effective transportation to the residents of Cape May County. Anyone under the age of 18 must ride with a registered resident of Cape May County. Car seats must be provided and installed by client. Fare Free has a new way of operating!!! All in-county trips are booked the day of your trip. Out

of County/ Philadelphia and Delaware for medical trips require 3 working days notice to book these trips. Step 1: You need to be a client of Fare Free...
You can call the office at 609-889-3700 and we can mail you an application. You can go to capemaycountynj.gov and download the application and mail it to us or fax it to 609-889-7696

Step 2: Booking trips...
You can continue to call in trips to the call takers in the office between the hours of 8am and 4pm or...

Step 3: Using the Uber app...
First download the Uber app to your device
Then to link Fare Free to your app, you will need to go to http://bit/ly/2NsXoh6
and fill out the information, then Fare Free will show up tp use (this may take a few days) for no cost to you
We still use our busses and drivers and it is still a ride-share system
