EDIT TO ADD: We want to clarify, these units are for folks who do not already have AC in their homes. While we wish we could provide everyone a unit, we only have a small number and we are prioritizing folks with the greatest need.

When we see a need, we take action.

Once again, our Community Investment Committee has set aside funds to give away a LIMITED number of window AC units to eligible households. To be eligible, you must live within Cape, Perry, Bollinger, or northern Scott counties and meet at least one of the criteria listed below. If you believe you meet the requirements, please call our partners at First Call For Help at 573-334-4357 (HELP) to be placed on the list. You MUST call First Call For Help.

Eligible households must live in Cape, Perry, Bollinger, or northern Scott counties & meet one of the following:
1. Medical documentation for a disability
2. Food stamp eligibility letter/Medicaid eligibility
3. Young children in the home
4. Seniors aged 60+

**AC units are LIMITED. 1 unit per eligible household. Call 573-334-4357**

How exciting to celebrate the opening of the Success Center with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Missouri ! The new center, so close to Cape's Junior High, has already doubled the number of youth attending. It costs $1,000 for each student to attend summer camp. UWSEMO is proud to support this program and others that are building future leaders. Thank you, donors!

♻️Send us your recycling! Our campers will be doing two STEM units at camp this summer, and your empties make the BEST supplies. Anything on the list below would be wonderful for their Maker Labs, but if you have something else that would be a fun addition, bring it over as well!

Donations can be dropped off at the Success Center, 1908 Independence St., Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
