Friends, we need your help! 📢

Since 2018, Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) funding has brought more than $225,000 to our library, supporting Summer Reading, literacy grants, Wi-Fi in the Parks, technology upgrades, staff development, STEAM kits, and more.

It also supports essential statewide services, including courier delivery, database access, and Missouri Evergreen membership.

⚠️This critical federal funding is now at risk!

One of the core goals of the Friends of the Library Foundation is to raise public awareness about the library’s programs and services. For us, this also means keeping our community informed about issues that affect those programs and services.

Below, you’ll find information about how rising e-book prices are impacting local libraries, including our own.

Digital access of library patrons is under threat…all because of rising e-book costs. Libraries are spending up to 3 times more than consumers to buy e-books, only for that content to expire.
