Our Meet & Greet is about more than just getting together and getting to know your fellow Youth Council members. It is also a chance to kick off our fundraising for our trip to Washington, D.C., next March to attend the National League of Cities Congressional City Conference.

We want to use this event to bring our Youth Council members, families, friends, and supporters together while also spreading the word about our fundraising campaign. Every donation will help us provide our students with the opportunity to participate in this incredible educational and leadership experience.

Once again, the owners, Greg Gebhard and Jovana Batkovic, have graciously offered to donate the pizza for our evening event. We truly appreciate their continued generosity and support of the Cape Coral Youth Council!

If you can't attend the Meet & Greet, we completely understand. However, please consider supporting our Washington, D.C. trip by donating to our GoFundMe page or sharing the fundraiser with family and friends.

The Cape Coral Youth Council is looking for its next COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR!

This is your opportunity to put your creativity and communication skills to work while helping the Youth Council:

📱 Promote Youth Council through social media
📣 Reach students throughout our local schools
🤝 Help with fundraising efforts
👥 Increase awareness and attendance at Youth Council meetings
💡 Bring fresh ideas for connecting Cape Coral’s youth with their community!

Applicants must:
✅ Live in Cape Coral
✅ Be a current high school student

What a thought-provoking discussion! Our Mental Health Discussion Panel with the help of Chair Skorzak, Vice Chair Brown, Members Jacques, Johnson, and Mparaganda was truly eye-opening. We are grateful for the panel who shared honest experiences, practical advice, and real talk about mental health. ❤️🧠

The Cape Coral Youth Council invites you to join us for a very important and timely conversation on mental health.

We will host a panel of experienced professionals who will share insights, resources, and real-world perspectives on mental health challenges affecting both youth and adults in our community.
