I have always been told there are no skunks in Florida. My big nose has smelled them several times down here and I finally received the call from a gentleman who had trapped this gorgeous little girl and wanted assistance with legally relocating her.

Ahh, driving past Veterans Memorial Park I smelled skunk yesterday afternoon. Not as common to see or smell them in that part of Cape Coral, but they are there!

Great advise! I was pleased to once again smell skunk quill yesterday morning in Cape Coral on Burnt Store Road! We have very few skunks in SWFL, so it was a welcome scent!

Florida skunks do not care if you live in a bus, a boat or in downtown Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Captiva, Sanibel or Bokeelia! Skunks will eventually find a way to get under your Florida house, shed, concrete slab (or bus) with all of this sandy soil we have here.

Skunks, squirrels and raccoons eating your tomatoes and peppers? It is amazing what some homeowners will try themselves to keep wildlife out of their gardens... hey, it worked for them until the skunks dug under the fence! The Skunk Whisperer, Inc knows what to do!

Sad. Here is a photo of a mother skunk a business self-trapped inside their busy warehouse. We went out to pick her up at 2AM because the trap was in a high traffic area. The mother gave birth to her baby skunks in the trap. In the 1st photo, you can see how we do a semi-hard release with a food cache for the mother so she can come back and relocate all the baby skunks one by one.

Thank goodness the homeowner did not put the trap under the house or deck... here is a skunk a homeowner trapped & did not know what to do with. Putting a skunk trap under a house, deck, or covered by something noisy like a tarp almost guarantees that we are going to get sprayed when removing it! We get a lot more skunk removal requests from do it yourself homeowners in the Okc area than in here. He was relocated far away from homes, and everybody lived happily ever after.

A skunk family was living under this bay window. Once we removed the skunks, we installed a barrier that did not allow skunks to dig under the house again... note the concrete blocks the client was trying to use to stop skunks from digging and stinking up the place.

These little stinkers were under an air conditioning unit. The skunks had to be removed so the heating and air conditioning guru could fix the massive holes in the plenum. Here they are being released in their new territory.
