The McPherson County Fair Is coming to Canton!
July 15 to 19th, 2015 with a Parade in downtown Canton on Saturday July 18 at 6:00, and a Rodeo to follow at 8:00. A good time is sure to be had by all. Come Join the Fun!!!

The Canton Swimming Pool will be offering Red Cross Swimming Lessons:
Evenings...July 6-July 11
Mornings....July 13-July 17
Cost per child is $25.00 or Private lessons for $35.00 per child.
Money will be due on the initial day of lessons. To place your child on either list please contact the pool at 628-4786 or call 628-4742 and leave a message. Please advise what session, child's name, age and a phone number that you can be reached at. Stephen Jowers will be out Water Safety Instructor for the lessons.

On Tuesday, February 10th, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM the Canton Police Dept. and the McPherson Veterinarian Clinic will be holding a dog registration and shot clinic at the Canton Police Station; 125 W. McPherson St. Dog tags will cost $5.00. TAGS WILL COST $15.00 AFTER FEBRUARY 28, 2015, and proof of vaccination is required.
If the time of the clinic does not work for the majority of Canton residents I will adjust the time. The date has to stay the same. If there are any questions please contact Canton Police Dept. at 620-245-4953 or 620-628-4313.

This lab is now up for adoption. If anyone would like to adopt please contact the canton police department. If the lab is not adopted by Monday October 3rd 2014 the lab will be taken to the McPherson Animal Shelter.
