We the people indict Tonda Curry for all acts in violation of her duty to see that "justice is done."

While DAs prefer that citizens report crimes to the police first, they are not legally "gatekept" by law enforcement. If a DA learns of a crime through other means, they have full legal power and a duty to investigate and prosecute it on their own.

Article 2.01 (Duties of District Attorneys) states that the primary duty of the prosecutor is "not to convict, but to see that justice is done."

We the people further allege that Tonda Curry, against the peace and dignity, and in jeopardy of the public safety of the good citizens of the State of Texas, County of Van Zandt, has knowingly and intentionally failed to see that justice is done by and through the followings described acts, to-wit:

1. On numerous occasions engaging in plea bargaining so as to allow known sexually deviate child preditors to remain free and at-large, placing our youth at risk of abuse, assault, or worse;

2. Claiming insufficient evidence and refusing to bring to trial or otherwise prosecute a Raines County Judge for threatening litigants and engaging in other corrupt conduct;

3. Accepting large campaign contributions from a known criminal operator of dozens of illegal gambling establishments:

4. Giving a bogus legal opinion that such gambling establishments are "legal" and authorizing their operation, while knowing that such opinion rests on an unstable foundations not supported by the law or the majority of legal decisions rendered by courts of.competent jurisdiction across Texas:

5. Refusing to prosecute those responsible for those responsible for theft and fraud, resulting in the removal of a 90-year-old man, Udo Birnbaum, from his home of over 40 years.

6. Allowing City officials to close a church motivated by a desire to prevent same from engaging in their Biblically backed worship practices which involve aiding and helping "least of these" homeless (Matthew 25:35-42), and failure to prosecute city police officials, identified by a credible eyewitness, for intentionally and knowingly stealing, damaging, and destroying church property.

Enhancement paragraph: It is further alleged that prior to the commission of the above described offenses, Tonda Curry, in the State of Texas, County of Smith, was previously convicted of violating her public oath to ensure that justice is done, by intentionally and knowingly hiding and concealing from a criminal defendant known exculpatory evidence, resulting in fines and a termination of employment working as an assistant district attorney in Smith County, Texas.

Van Zandt County District Attorney Controversy

CANTON -- A contentious political controversy has emerged in Van Zandt County surrounding District Attorney Tonda Curry during her current re-election campaign.

One of Curry’s most vocal critics, Joe Donalson, has publicly accused the District Attorney of failing to act after a Mennonite church building in Van Zandt County was ordered closed and later vandalized, with no criminal charges filed in connection with the vandalism.

Donalson has repeatedly raised these concerns in public forums, arguing that the lack of prosecution reflects selective enforcement of the law.

Donalson’s primary platform for communicating with the public has been a Facebook group called “Van Zandt Connect,” administered by Julie Franklin. The group has served as a local discussion forum on county politics and law enforcement issues.

According to Franklin, District Attorney Curry threatened legal action unless Donalson’s posts criticizing her conduct were removed from the group. Franklin declined to remove the posts, citing free speech concerns.

Shortly afterward, David Fox, an East Texas businessman who owns multiple game rooms and video gambling establishments, allegedly offered Franklin $5,000 to purchase the Facebook group, an offer Franklin says she refused.

Following that refusal, Franklin reports that her Facebook account was compromised, resulting in the installation of an unknown “ghost administrator.” Franklin lost administrative control of the group, Donalson’s posts were deleted, and Donalson himself was blocked from further participation.

Facebook has denied any involvement in or responsibility for the alleged censorship.

Public campaign finance records show that in 2024, David Fox was the sole financial contributor to District Attorney Curry’s re-election campaign, donating $5,000.

This disclosure has drawn increased scrutiny because, across Texas, state and local law enforcement agencies have been raiding and shutting down game rooms and video gambling operations amid ongoing legal disputes over their legality. In Van Zandt County, however, District Attorney Curry has reportedly issued a legal opinion stating that such establishments are lawful and has instructed local law enforcement not to interfere with Fox’s operations.

Critics argue that the campaign contribution, combined with Curry’s legal position on game rooms and the alleged suppression of online criticism, raises serious ethical and transparency concerns.

Curry has not publicly addressed the hacking allegations or explained the apparent disparity between Van Zandt County’s enforcement posture and that of other Texas jurisdictions.

Hacking is a FEDERAL CRIME!
Yesterday someone illegally accessed my Facebook and changed my password. To regain access, I had to contact FB and have links sent to my phone and email to verify my identity. When I recovered my account, I no longer was a member of Van Zandt Connect and all my content was deleted.

When I find out who did this, you will be going to jail. That's a promise!
