Today, we remember.

On September 11, we honor the lives lost, remember the heroes who stepped forward, and recognize the strength and unity that carried our communities through one of our nation’s darkest days.

May we never forget the lives, stories, and sacrifices that shaped September 11, 2001.

This morning, we came together to celebrate the progress we’ve made and look ahead to what’s possible when our community comes together.

We heard from Dr. Walter Iwanenko, President of Gannon University, about the importance of strengthening our neighborhood schools and how a similar model has grown and made an impact in Erie, PA, over the last few years.

As the model continues to grow, so does the opportunity to make an even greater impact. But we can’t do it alone. We need the support of our community to help this work continue to grow and reach more children and families.

Our campaign goal is $4.25 million and reaching it will take all of us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning and to the donors, partners and community members who continue to believe in what’s possible when we work together.

When I grow up starts today.

We’re proud to support opportunities that inspire young readers!

As a sponsor and partner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Reading the Playbook event during Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic weekend, we joined community partners in celebrating literacy and learning.

A special shoutout to the Divine Nine of Stark County, organizers of this impactful event, for bringing our community together to encourage a love of reading among local students.

Several of our team members also volunteered as readers in local schools, sharing stories with students throughout the community.

A great reminder that every page turned is a step toward a brighter future!

For generations, people have invested in stronger communities through their generosity, service, and leadership. 🌱

Some choose to extend that impact through a gift in their will. 🤝📝

These future gifts help ensure that children and families in Stark and Carroll counties continue to have access to opportunities, resources, and support for years to come. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

Whether through volunteering, annual giving, advocacy, or a future gift, every act of generosity helps build a stronger community. 🙌

In honor of Dolly Parton’s incredible legacy, we’re celebrating one of the many ways she brought hope, opportunity and a love of learning to children everywhere: Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio, children under the age of 5 can receive a FREE book in the mail every month, helping strengthen early literacy skills, spark creativity and foster a lifelong love of reading.

If you have a young child, we encourage you to sign them up and carry on Dolly’s vision of putting books into the hands of children. If you don’t have children under 5, or your child has aged out of the program, you can help continue her legacy by donating.

A gift of just $30 provides books to one child for an entire year. And thanks to matching dollars from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio, your donation goes even further.

Children who have books in their homes are more likely to succeed in school and, ultimately, in their careers. By helping put books into the hands of local children, we’re investing in brighter futures and a stronger community, one book at a time.

Let’s honor Dolly’s legacy by helping put more books into the hands of local children.
