Get ready to bring the kiddos, dress up in your favorite costumes, and enjoy some spooktacular family fun! Canton Parks and Recreation is hosting TWO community Trunk or Treat events this year — and you’re invited to BOTH! 🎉🕸️

🟠 THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30 | 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 Stadium Park, Canton, Ohio
Due to last year’s huge turnout, we’re adding 30 extra minutes to keep the fun flowing! Please note: to keep the line moving, no interactive vendor displays other than photo ops are permitted.

📍 Edward “Peel” Coleman Community Center — 1400 Sherrick Road SE, Canton
This Southeast community event is full of festive spirit, sweet treats, and neighborhood pride! Come enjoy safe fun and connect with your community.

🔥 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁. 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯. 🔥

Today, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 gathered at the McKinley Monument for the 𝟵/𝟭𝟭 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯, honoring the 𝟯𝟰𝟯 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝟲𝟬 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝟴 𝗘𝗠𝗧𝘀/𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘀, and nearly 𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 on September 11, 2001.

🇺🇸 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, we climbed step by step, alongside first responders, families, and neighbors, to remember the 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 shown that day.

👥 Canton City Council Members 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵, 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼, and 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗸 were honored to join the community for this moving remembrance event.

🗽 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆.

Hosted by Ron Seymour and LeTony Baker, this exciting community event will showcase incredible local youth talent and members of Canton City Council will be there as special guest judges!

This event is part of Council’s ongoing commitment to community outreach, and we can’t wait to support and celebrate the next generation of performers.
