Ashley is purchasing her new Habitat home with an affordable 0% interest mortgage. 🔑 The real gift that Betty and Stu have given isn't a handout it's a hand up, a gift of opportunity that lasts for generations.

Betty Wilkins and her late husband, Stuart, donated their North Canton home to Habitat for Humanity. The proceeds are being used to build four homes.

! 🔑 Last night, Sierra took the keys in exchange for her first 0% interest mortgage payment as we welcomed her home to the 700th house we've built in East Central Ohio.

This is the first of two 2026 homes and was built by a group of inspiring women, many of whom have been friends for nearly 60 years. When they heard Sierra's story as a hardworking mom who was doing everything she could to realize the dream of affordable homeownership, they gathered the funds to sponsor the home, then put on hard hats to build it right beside her. Thank you to every woman who helped Sierra bring this dream to life and proved that caring for each other is a foundation you can build on.

Thanks also to Nicole at Fromage du Monde for feeding our volunteers throughout the build, and to the The Junior League of Stark County, Inc. and Marathon Petroleum Corporation for the shirts every volunteer will wear to remember this incredible milestone!

Lunch is served! 🍽️ This year, Fronimo's Downtown is celebrating a 10-year legacy of wining and dining our community, and they're also helping Imani create a lasting legacy with Habitat by providing the lunches that keep our volunteers fueled up and ready to build. This home will be a safe and secure foundation for Amyah and four-year-old Amina. Our good friends at Diebold Nixdorf, who know all about safety and security, are building beside her, and it starts with protecting the foundation for all the years ahead. The walls will be up soon!

When this home is complete, Cortez and his sons will forever be surrounded by prayers and messages of hope written into their walls. ✍️ As parishes from across the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown have joined together for this year's Catholic Community Build, they've not only built on faith, they've written it into the very home they're building.

Two weeks ago, we planted seeds—and some of them were flowers. 🌺 Even though football week in Canton has come and gone, we're grateful for the legacy that was planted in young hearts thanks to Pro Football Hall of Fame Legends, their families, future homeowners, and Habitat kids working together at the same bench.
