Today marks a great tragedy in the history of our country. SLU Dems plant these flags in the quad each year so that we can continue to remember and honor all those whose lives we have lost.

Several students spent last evening covering the Brush Quad with nearly 3,000 flags in honor and remembrance of all September 11 victims and their families. Five large flags sit at the top of the Quad in honor of the Laurentians we lost: Robert J. “Bobby” Coll ’88, Catherine Gorayeb ’82, Christopher Morrison ’89, Michel A. “Mike” Pelletier ’88, and Richard H. “Richie” Stewart Jr. ’89.
