Counting our wins and the game hasn’t even started yet: 1) This year, the annual Stark vs Summit Su***de Prevention Coalition “Strike Out Stigma” softball game falls on World Su***de Prevention Day - doesn’t get any more meaningful than that! 2) The weather is absolutely gorgeous. Every year we look forward to coming together as neighbors and allies in su***de prevention in this lighthearted way. AND, please help us congratulate this year’s Stark County’s Su***de Prevention Coalition volunteer of the year, Aubrey Neuenschwander! Thank you for your dedication, Aubrey. And thank you to Green Mayor Yeargin for providing gracious opening remarks. County of Summit ADM Board City of Green, Ohio - GovernmentStark County Su***de Prevention Coalition

Today is the Su***de Prevention Coalition’s Day of Action! Volunteers from around the County are meeting here at StarkMHAR, and then heading out into the community asking local businesses to consider displaying these prevention signs in men’s restrooms. (Men can be a high risk population for su***de, making targeted efforts especially important.) Say hi if you see us out and about and thank you in advance to business that support this initiative.
