Plain Local Schools Foundation and Alumni Association We build & maintain community trust & provide funding for superior, innovative, educational programs.

In 2011 the Plain Local Schools Foundation merged with the Plain Local Schools Alumni Association to provide more opportunities for alumni and the general community to connect with, and support, all 6,000 students of Plain Local. In the last six years, the Foundation has awarded over $100,000 in grants for programming that support the District in their philosophy of educating the whole child around the areas of Character, Wellness, 21st Century Skills, Content Standards and the Arts. Along with the grants, the Foundation awards scholarships to graduating GlenOak High School seniors each year and supports the Plain Local School District through a variety of endowment funds to help achieve their mission of providing a personalized, relevant education to all students of Plain Local. The Plain Local Schools Foundation raises funds in order to provide programming and support that inspires the hearts and minds of the children of Plain Local. With your help, we can continue this mission and help create exceptional learning experiences for all students of Plain Local.

✨️ Board Member Spotlight ✨️

Michael is a 1991 graduate of GlenOak High School and a 1995 graduate of Kent State University, where he earned a BBA in Finance. With more than 30 years of experience in home lending, he currently serves as a Senior Home Lending Advisor with JPMorgan Chase, helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. A longtime Plain Local community member, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Angela and Payton, as well as fishing, traveling, and giving back through community service.
