Big wheels, little hands and a whole lot of memories💨

Today at Go Grow we sipped warm Adeni tea from , laughed with friends, raced monster trucks through the playroom, colored together, and sent families home with their own trucks to paint and enjoy. The best kind of childhood is slow, creative, messy, community-filled, and shared together.

Thank you to everyone who joined our Monster Truck Rally and made the space feel so full of joy today.

Every day at Go Grow, you can now join us in speaking out against the detention of children by decorating paper dolls in solidarity with families impacted by immigration detention policies. Inspired by the call to action from .

These dolls will become part of a larger community display reminding people that children deserve safety, dignity, play, education, and freedom, not confinement. We believe even small hands can participate in compassion, advocacy, and humanity.

Materials will be available daily at Go Grow for both children and adults to participate.

Inspired by the greatest, , starting Wednesday, May 20, Go Grow will have paper dolls available for children and adults to decorate in support of immigrant families impacted by family detention policies.

Families can write messages of hope, kindness, and solidarity on each doll. The completed dolls will be mailed to advocacy organizations in Washington, D.C. and delivered to members of Congress as part of a national campaign calling for an end to family detention and for stronger protections for children and families.

The goal is simple: to create a powerful visual reminder that children deserve safety, dignity, education, play, and the chance to experience childhood freely — not behind locked doors.

We invite our community to participate during open play, classes, or events beginning May 20.
