Every day, GiGi’s Playhouse changes lives by providing free, life-changing therapeutic, educational and career training programs for individuals of all ages.

We change lives through consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages through a replicable playhouse model. GiGi’s Playhouse is the only international network of Down Syndrome Achievement Centers, with over 57 brick and mortar locations across the United States and Mexico and 200 inquiries to start new locations all over the world. From prenatal diagnosis to career skills, GiGi’s makes a lifetime commitment to families. GiGi’s helps maximize opportunities for daily achievement and lasting acceptance.

We had a pretty special visitor at the Playhouse today!

Olivia DePiore — model, advocate, and proud woman with Down syndrome — stopped by GiGi's Playhouse Canton for a visit! Fun fact: Olivia is a fellow Northeast Ohio resident!

We love that someone making such an impact in the modeling world and beyond calls our community home.

We had the best time connecting and dreaming up what's next. And let's just say...this won't be the last you see of Olivia and GiGi's Playhouse Canton. 😉 Stay tuned!

No, it wasn't our Site Director's daughter trying to help mom do work, but it appears to be a character-coding error affecting some T-Mobile users, and our team is working to get it resolved. Our excitement for Leaps & Bounds is spot-on! Join us this Saturday, September 19th at 10am for our next monthly session geared toward our 3-to-5-year-old friends! https://ow.ly/EAUq50ZNA4B

Leaps & Bounds is a play-based program for children that focuses on success in preschool and kindergarten. Students will participate in fun and engaging activities that provide opportunities for following routines, small group participation, movement and interaction with their environment. Family members are key participants in this program and will encourage their child to reach his or her Best of All throughout each session.

When you visit GiGi's Playhouse, we ask that EVERYONE who is staying to please sign in. This serves two important purposes:

• Safety & accountability: Sign-in helps us know who is in the Playhouse and allows us to account for everyone in the event of an emergency.

• Showing the impact of our programs: We support the whole family, not just the individual with Down syndrome. Tracking everyone who participates helps us accurately record the full number of program hours and the extent of support provided to our community. This information helps us demonstrate the reach and impact of GiGi's Playhouse to our donors, partners, and community.

Destination Discovery supports the development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social skills and language through purposeful play and peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. This program also brings families together to share experiences and build relationships.
