ForCanton is a non-profit (5o1c3) created for the sole purpose of helping those in need (feeing, clothing, shelter, and events) in Canton, Ga.

We love the city of Canton! It really is that simple. We live here, shop here, and build friendships here in this great city. It is because of this love for our city that we want to help those that might be going through hard times in whatever way we can. We operate a clothing closet, food pantry, warming shelter and host several events a year that simply love on those in need. To put it simply, we are .

Today is the day! If you or someone you know needs assistance this Thanksgiving, Action Church is giving away everything you need from Turkey to sides for you to cook Thanksgiving for your family.

The Thanksgiving boxes will be given away today at 2 p.m. at Action Church. Simply pull up to the front doors and someone will load the items in your trunk.

It is time again for us to GIVE CANTON THE BIRD!

This is our 6th year giving families everything needed for them to be able to cook Thanksgiving Dinner for their family. Families who have a need will receive everything needed to cook dinner for their family from the Turkey to all the sides to dessert.

If you are in need this Holiday season, we will be giving out the meals this Sunday at 2 p.m. at Action Church (271 Marietta Rd. Canton, Ga. 30114). No questions asked.

You must be present to get the meals.
One meal per family

We will be operating our monthly food giveaway this Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Action Church. We will have it set up for you to pull up in your car, you pop your trunk and we will place the food in your car. If you know of anyone who had legit needs for food please send them to 271 Marietta Rd in Canton this Wednesday (4.8.20) and we will be glad to give them a hand-up during these times of uncertainty.

Cherokee County Schools Nutrition staff will distribute to-go bags of food through drive-through stations set up from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, March 16, and Monday, March 23, in the parking lot or bus lanes of the schools or communities noted below. These bags will contain a week of breakfasts and lunches for a child. A child must be present in order for a bag to be provided. To be proactive in “social distancing,” families cannot stay at the site; do not come to a site if you are ill.
