The October meeting of the St. Lawrence Valley Genealogy Society (SLVGS) will be at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, 1023/19, at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association (SLCHA) in Canton.

The agenda will include finalizing reducing SLVGS dues to $5 per year; the SLVGS Newsletter; and the History and Genealogy Fair coming up at SLCHA on 10/26/19.

History and Genealogy Fair
Saturday, October 26, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

St. Lawrence County Historical Association (SLCHA) Museum and Archives,
3 E. Main Street, Canton

Presentations: the Harry Horwood stained glass windows by David Martin, and a panel discussion on several genealogy topics, including research tips in our archives and online.

Exhibitors: information on history and genealogy in St Lawrence County, and demonstrations
such as digitizing photos and other items with a camera and copy stand.

The schedule will include topics which should be of interest
to both local history and genealogical researchers.

The SLCHA and St. Lawrence Valley Genealogical Society (SLVGS), co-hosts of this event,
encourage all those interested in local or family history to attend this event.
