At the May 5, 2026 meeting of the Stark County Regional Planning Commission (RPC), RPC gave conditional approval to F.E.A. Adult Day Center for a 2,400 sq. ft. building on the west side of Cleveland and north of Orion in Plain Township. Owner, Katie Fischer, stated, “ForEver Agency, LLC provides services to individuals with special needs. In addition to providing residential services in the client's home, we also provide community inclusion and Adult Day Services. Our plan for the center (located at 7975 Cleveland Ave NW. North Canton) is to have a program that runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. where individuals can come to socialize (adult day services) and/or learn job skills with the idea of one day being hired for a community job. Our Adult Day program focuses on community inclusion, crafting, team building, companionship, etc. The program's focus is to allow these individuals to "get out of the house," meet new people, and have fun while working toward their annual goals.”

At the April 7, 2026 meeting of the Stark County Regional Planning Commission (RPC), conditional approval was given to Pav’s Beanery for an 800 sq. ft. building on the north side of Easton and east of Middlebranch in Plain Township. Grant Giltz, co-owner, stated, “Pav’s Beanery is a next-generation coffee concept developed as a sister brand to the iconic Pav’s Creamery – a regional leader in handcrafted ice cream, desserts, and community-driven experiences. This new venture fuses Pav’s signature ice cream culture with the craft coffee movement, delivering a premium yet playful coffeehouse experience centered around local collaboration, quality ingredients, and brand nostalgia. Through partnerships with M & H Roastery, Pav’s Beanery will serve locally roasted espresso and coffee beverages enhanced by Pav’s proprietary creams, syrups, and ice creams. The result is a menu that transcends typical coffeehouse offerings – blending dessert indulgence with specialty coffee sophistication. This drive-thru only store is the first with plans to add two more in the future.”
