He saw an open gate.
He smelled something interesting.
And apparently… he has places to be. 😂
Now what?
🐾 COLLAR + ID TAG = FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE!
Your dog should wear a properly fitted collar with an ID tag showing your current phone number. If someone finds your wandering Houdini, they can call you right away!
🔍 MICROCHIP = THE BACKUP THAT NEVER COMES OFF!
A microchip is a tiny chip, about the size of a grain of rice, placed under your pet’s skin. It contains a unique identification number that shelters and veterinary clinics can scan to help identify their owner.
⚠️ BUT REMEMBER: A microchip is NOT GPS! It can't track your pet’s location. And your contact information must be kept up to date for the chip to help reunite you!

💔170 Days💔

Our sweet boy Jeff has reached a heartbreaking milestone of 170 days at the shelter. He has been overlooked for months, but through it all, he has kept his spirit intact.

When he first arrived, he tested positive for heartworm and underwent treatment here at the shelter. He is the definition of a resilient, loyal companion who just needs a second chance.

Will you please consider giving him a loving home?

Current Foster Families or New to Fostering Families

We have dogs who desperately need foster homes, and we’re hoping our amazing foster family or someone new who’s ready to open their heart and home.

Fostering saves lives. It gives a shelter dog a safe, loving place to decompress, feel cared for, and show their true personality while they wait for their forever family.

Must be comfortable with administering medications.
