Happy Father’s Day to some of our very special men we get to party with daily and a very happy Father’s day to all of our fine men out there!

We hope that, however you spent your day, that you feel celebrated, valued, important, and most importantly, loved!!!

We celebrated our men this week with a men’s lunch!! Our activity staff prepared a delicious menu, and the men had an opportunity to socialize, share stories, smile, and laugh with one another!!!

Happy Father’s Day to all of our great men who are continuing to impact the next generation!! We are so grateful for you and hope that you had a marvelous day!💙

Take us out to the ball game!!!⚾️

Shout out to Roy at the Rubber Ducks stadium who spoiled our residents endlessly on Thursday evening!!! We had great parking, great seats, and a GREAT time!!!

Sadly, the ducks did not pull out a win, but it was sure a win for us that night!!! We had great weather, our amazing director of nursing and her daughter joined us, and most improtantly, we had fun! Residents are already asking when we are going again!!!⚾️

Fun fact!!!

Today we had Pam Cook from WHBC In the house! She and her team broadcasted and filmed from CCH for two hours!!! We had plenty of familiar faces featured! But most importantly, we had some of our fine party people make their appearance!

Hey there all you talk radio fans!!!! 🎉

Tune into WHBC today from 10-12!!! They will be featuring us on their radio station!

There will be a whole line up of different staff members and residents sharing all the fun things going on at CCH, sharing their experiences, playing some music, and the list goes on!

Today we had Perry Christian’s J.O.Y. Group visit with some of our Perry Christian Residents!!! They received a lovely tour of our building, enjoyed some delicious food, and even played a few rousing rounds of musical Bingo!! There was laughter, fellowship, and so much singing! What a lovely afternoon!!!

Canton Christian Home took the party to Patrick Elementary School’s 6th grade class a couple of weeks ago for our third and final visit this year! And we did it big!!! We threw them a Carnival for the end of the school year! 🎡

Our residents and volunteers led the games while the kids played! There was laughter, camaraderie, friendship, connection, and a whole lot of Jesus!

This was a great way to end the school year with our friends. The joy that was brought to our residents by serving and providing this for our friends was unmeasurable! We already cannot wait to party with them again next year!!! 🎟️❤️

We were just “chin”chillin’ the other day when OUTBACK RAY made his “spe-shell” appearance! 🐢

His show was absolutely “un-fur-getable”!🐰
He’s “guinea” get a five star review from us! 🐹⭐️

Outback Ray paid a visit to CCH this week!!! He made sure to bring a few friends along, such as a chincilla, a blue tegu, a tortoise, a Rex rabbit, an armadillo, a hairless guinea pig, and a PYTHON! 🐍

The chapel was filled with laughter, anticipation, excitement, and so many firsts! His show is both equally educational and fun! He makes this experience truly interactive and a safe place to try something new! 

We 10/10 recommend our friend, Outback Ray!!!

Our last day of Canton Christian Home Week was filled with a little competition!!!

We started off singing our National Anthem and then following that was a HUGE game of chair volleyball!!! Followed up with a sweet treat for a job well done!!! The laughter that was coming from the room was so great! It is certainly music to our ears!🏐😎

We also celebrated by having a staff cookout on our patio!!! It was a fabulous way to end the week!🍔🌭

We are so “Ducky” to have these residents and staff of ours!!!

Our staff went completely “quackers” on Thursday during our first annual duck races!!!

Our admin team joined the party and suited up for the race of their lives!
All were winners that day, as the giggles from surrounding staff and residents filled the air! It surely was a very memorable day! We are already planning next year’s event!

We truly have the best team and residents here at CCH! We are so fortunate to have these fine party people to “waddle” through life with together! 🦆💛
