: The Stark County Fatherhood Coalition is proud to invite families to participate in Stark Community Support Network's 2026 Annual Fishing Rodeo, taking place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Stadium Park, located at 2511 Stadium Park Dr. NW, Canton, Ohio.

Please note that the event has been relocated from Cook's Lagoon. Participants who may have seen previous event flyers or announcements should plan to attend the Fishing Rodeo at Stadium Park.

This free, family-friendly event is open to fathers, mothers, and children of all ages. Fishing will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Fishing poles, bait, hooks, and sinkers will be provided while supplies last. Food and refreshments will also be available for all participants.

Stark Community Support Network and Stark Parks are hosting the Fishing Rodeo to promote healthy lifestyles and provide participants an opportunity to enjoy time with their family in the fresh air and sunshine. This event would not be possible without the generous support of Stark Community Support Network, Stark Parks, Berkley Fishing Club of Ohio, Stark County Fatherhood Coalition, Walking with a Purpose, and Stark County Federation Clubs.

For additional information or questions, please contact Matt Lytle at 330-451-8477 or [email protected].

The Stark County Fatherhood Coalition empowers fathers to take a positive role in their child's life, sponsor activities that strengthen families, and educate the community. They envision a community where all fathers have an opportunity to take an active role in their children’s lives, the barriers to that role are removed, and the role of fathers is promoted, respected, and understood.
