This impeachment is political. Purely a political move. Both sides are voting along political lines. This is not what our government is supposed to be. It is a shame we cant figure out how to dump both parties. this is a sad state of affairs. An embarrassment.

We need another choice. Our Government is broken. Watching the democratic debates, it's like watching an episode of survivor. It is hard to believe we have these candidates and President Trump to chose from, sad.

Where do you get truthful information? How are you informed by the pertainant information of our times? As I watch news cycles, from every news station I can see, they give little fact, a lot of opinion, and angle the misinformation to suit their own belief system. So again, if you listen to to the news, read the paper, search the web, are you informed, how can you insure the information your receiving is making you informed? The answer is read the policies yourself, form you own analysis of the policies, bills, and laws that are on the agenda. It takes time, energy, and an open mind. Not too many people have the patients, or the time to do this. Quite the kunundrum. The misinformation out there should force us all to seek the truth. I wonder when the intelligent people I know are going to stop being poisoned by bad information?

Why the President puts up with all the squabbling over some of these issues from the republicans and democrats just amazes me. He has the pen, and the line item veto. Cut the funds for the laws. The funding for most of these issues is not written into the law. So all he has to do is cut the funding. Nothing the courts, congress, or either party can do. He is charged with operating the government within the budget.

We don't just complain about something with no solution. The dems and republicans both have it wrong. We need to put the insurance companies out Iof business. We have a way to provide universal coverage for all legal American citizens. If you use Washington, Colorado and California, take the tax numbers for ma*****na sales, to***co sales and alcohol sales, and divide by legal residents. They could pay the medical bills in all three states and still have enough left over to pay for medical expenses in 20 other states. The key is to ensure none of the tax money from those three things gets spent on anything but medical expenses. You can do the research and math yourself. We looked at this two years ago and spent considerable time doing the internet research and math. I can't beleive no one thought to use the things that threaten our health the most, to use it to create great healthcare for all.

The politicians in Washington just still haven't gotten it. Work together or be removed. We deserve a functioning democracy. These congressmen and senators are just sitting back collecting paychecks. They need to quit blocking and playing partisan politics, and start working for the American voters. Let's make them accountable for thier inaction.

We are a land of immagrants. With that being said, Germany had open borders in the 80's and 90's before and after the Berlin wall was torn down. They were a huge melting pot of many cultures. They also had and still to this day have terrorist organizations from within thier own borders. I lived there during my military days, I survived a terrorist bombing. This organized terrorist group was an extremist group, their name,

" Red Army Faction". The group had ties to a legitimate political organization in Germany, but they were extremists of the party.

The point..look at what is happening here today. We have extremists on both ends, conservatives on the republican side...liberals on the democratic side. Most of us fit Iunto the middle somewhere, but the parties are splitting further away from one another, instead of in the middle. Neither party is willing to work with each other if where there is comman ground.

We are already having extremists committing acts of violence...but I call it terrorism. Attacking police officers, bombing government buildings...interfering with with the lawful movement of citizens. Not so peaceful demonstrations..then lying and saying they were peaceful.

This has happened all over the world..in country after country...now it's happening here. Your in denial..or you believe what the news media outlets are telling you. Open your eyes...wake up and smell the coffee. Your not in Kansas anymore Toto.

Silence has been the best medicene. However, many things are happening that need discussed. First, tomorrow starts the new administration and presidents term. Trump is not a conventional man. I hope he stays out of bed with the republican party. There is going to be a short time that this unconventional president has a honeymoon periid with the republicans. I hope not to much damage is done by them during this time. I predict by summer he is at odds with the party. Maybe we can get him to join us after that happens... Let's wish him well and pray he does what is right for this country.
