Any comments that violate these guidelines may be removed by the Fremont County Sheriffs Office at its sole discretion, and without prior warning or notice. The Fremont County Sheriffs Office also reserves the right to block access to our social media pages to any user violating these guidelines, without prior warning or notice. The FCSO Detention Center maintains compliance with the Federal Prison R**e Elimination Act. All employees are vigilant in their efforts to prevent incidents from happening. Offender safety is a primary concern. When an alleged event is reported it is investigated fully, and when supported by evidence all available legal and administrative remedies are utilized. If anyone learns of or has information related to a PREA incident at the FCSO Detention Center, they are encouraged to contact the jail’s PREA Coordinator directly at (719) 276-5512. All PREA reports are investigated. False reporting laws may be applied when appropriate.

UPDATE: Daysie has been located and is safe.

Daysie Blake has been reported missing. Daysie was previously reported missing and was located safely; however, she has now been reported missing again.

Daysie is approximately 5’8” tall with blonde curly hair. Daysie was last seen wearing a black sweater and black pants. Daysie was last seen on 9/13/2026 at 2330 hrs. If you have any information or have seen Daysie, please call FreCom Dispatch at 719-276-5555 ext 8. To best assist Deputies in locating Daysie please provide detailed information such as, direction of travel, if she is seen with any parties and any updated clothing description.

Update as of 9/8/26 at 2:15: Fire is 100% contained and is reported to be 1.2 acres. Mop up will be continuing.

A new fire has been reported on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands between Cabin Creek Lane and State Highway 9 in Fremont County.

The fire is currently estimated at approximately ½ to 1 acre and is burning in heavy fuels, which will result in visible smoke in the area.

BLM personnel are en route to the fire to assess and manage the incident.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL 911 TO REPORT THIS FIRE.
FRECOM is currently being inundated with calls regarding the smoke and fire. The fire has been reported and emergency personnel are responding.
