Join us for a few choruses of the Community Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest Youngstown! 🇩🇪

You might know it as the Chicken Dance, but this crowd-pleaser actually began as “Der Ententanz,” or “The Duck Dance,” in the 1970s. It eventually became known as the Chicken Dance and took off around the world, with a particularly long-lasting love affair right here in the United States.

Autism Society of Mahoning Valley (ASMV) celebrated a milestone achievement on Thursday, September 10, with the opening of our new permanent office in Downtown Youngstown.
The new office is located in the Youngstown Business Incubator building.

We are deeply thankful for the support from Northern Ohio Golf Charities and Community Fund Ohio for the capital support to furnish and equip our office and storage space. And to Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, Youngstown Foundation, and other private donors for the operational support.

The Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley (ASMV) celebrated a milestone achievement on Thursday, September 10, with the opening of its new permanent office in Downtown Youngstown.

The Autism Society's new resource, Beyond Acceptance: Autism Inclusion and Equity – A Guide for Educators, Parents and Students, was created in association with the American Federation of Teachers.

Our state alliance organization, the Autism Society Ohio has a limited number of print copies available. If you would like one mailed to you, please email [email protected] and provide your name, mailing address and relation to Autism (parent, teacher, etc.).
