☀️ June is almost here, and just like that, we’re wrapping up another incredible school year at Lee Elementary! ☀️

As we head into the final days of school, we want to thank our amazing students, families, teachers, staff, and volunteers for making this year one to remember. From PTO events and spirit days to field trips, assemblies, fundraisers, carnival, jog-a-thon, and countless classroom memories, our Lee Lions have shown what an incredible community can accomplish together.

📅 A few important dates remain:

🏃 June 8 – Field Day
🎓 June 9 – 6th Grade Graduation & Last Day of School

As summer approaches, we hope our Lions enjoy plenty of sunshine, adventures, family time, and well-deserved relaxation. Thank you for your support throughout the year and for helping make Lee Elementary such a special place.

🌈 Spirit Day Tomorrow: RAINBOW DAY! 🌈

Get ready to brighten up the school with a rainbow of colors tomorrow! Each grade level has its own color to wear:

❤️ Kindergarten — Red
🧡 1st Grade — Orange
💛 2nd Grade — Yellow
💚 3rd Grade — Green
💙 4th Grade — Blue
💜 5th Grade — Purple
🩷 6th Grade — Pink

We can’t wait to see the whole school come together to create one giant rainbow! ☀️

Welcome back, Lee Lions! 🦁❤️ We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and had a chance to relax, recharge, and make some fun memories.

Now it’s time for our final push toward summer! These last few weeks are packed with exciting events, special activities, celebrations, and lots of learning as we finish the school year strong together. ☀️📚

Today we welcomed back some very special visitors! 🎓❤️

Canby High School seniors returned to the halls of their elementary school one more time for Grad Walk Day, this time in caps and gowns instead of backpacks and crayons. Watching our former students walk these halls again was such a special reminder that big dreams truly do begin here.

We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where life takes them next. Congratulations, Class of 2026; your Lee family is cheering you on every step of the way! 🦁🎉

Reminder: Tomorrow and Tuesday are furlough days, so students are heading into a 5-day Memorial Day weekend! 🇺🇸☀️

We hope all of our Lee Lions and their families enjoy the extra time together, get some rest, and take a moment to honor and remember those who have served our country. We’ll see everyone back at school on Wednesday!

Reminder! Tomorrow is Election Day! 🇺🇸

You’ve probably already seen us out at drop-off and pick-up this past week, and we’ll be back one last time tomorrow morning between 7:40–8:00 AM helping remind people to vote, especially in support of the levy.

If your child decorated a vote sign last week, please bring it along! Parents are also welcome to bring additional signs, and we’ll have a couple available as well.

Thank you all for supporting our schools and community. And good news: after tomorrow we’ll finally be done bugging everyone about voting 😊

Reminder: There will be NO SCHOOL this Friday, so enjoy the long weekend!

Also, don’t forget to submit your ballots by Tuesday, May 19th 🗳️ Every vote matters and helps support our school community.

🍦☀️ Popsicles & Posters is TODAY! ☀️🍦

Join us this afternoon on the Eccles playground from 4:00–5:30 PM for popsicles, community, and creativity! Come learn more about Measure 3-636 while kids make signs for the Kids Rally this weekend. ❤️📚✂️

This is an easy, fun way to get involved, ask questions, and support our schools. Supplies provided — just bring your family and your school spirit! 🦁

Stop by the Eccles playground on Friday, May 15th from 4:00–5:30 PM for a fun, family-friendly afternoon hosted by Eccles & Knight PTA! Enjoy a cold treat, connect with other families, and learn more about Measure 3-636 and how it supports our schools. ❤️

Kids can also help create signs for the Kids Rally happening Sunday, May 17th from 12–2 PM at the Vietnam Era Veterans Memorial. Supplies will be provided!
