After graduating High School in 1971 enlisted into the US Air Force retiring as a First Sergeant May 1992. Upon retirement started working for Diemolding Corporation where I held positions as Maintenance Manager, Environmental, Safety and Health Director, Product Line Engineer, and currently Special Projects Manager. While in the USAF and Diemolding grew to be a broad based management professional
with experience in a full range of management functions. Over thirty (35) years of diversified experience in personnel, manufacturing, lean concept, continuous improvement, project planning, budget control, quality control, environmental, safety, and maintenance management. Well versed in all aspects of: employee relations… personnel procedures and forms development/implementation… budget preparation & maintenance… material management… implementation of training & testing programs… continuous improvement through lean and cell manufacturing… administration of total quality management goals… Environmental & OSHA standards…reporting to Federal, State, and Local Government agencies on items such as storm and waste water, Tier 2, Title V, R form, air emissions. I am a member of the board for the Canastota Opportunity Shop and am a board member and Safety Director for the Canastota Little League Board. In the 38+ years of marriage we have raised 3 children all graduating from Canastota and now assist with 7 grandchildren 5 of which have graduated from or currently attend the Canastota School system. Through day and evening classes while in the military I attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources Management and an Associate in Sciences in Avionics Systems Technology
