Another successful weekend down!

Canastota has completed another International Boxing Hall of Fame Parade without a hitch! Greater Lenox provided medical coverage, and is happy to report that everyone remained safe and healthy throughout the event. From the start of the day with the chairs lining the sidewalks downtown, right to the end of the day with the streetsweeper making its rounds (here's to you, Village of Canastota, NY DPW), we were able to simply enjoy the event.

Lastly, thank you to our three paid staff and seven volunteers that came out to support the parade today. There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes, and these are the real heroes in our eyes. Paycheck or not, they are all professionals and hold themselves to high standards for their community.

🚑🐣 Learning in Action!

Canastota High School students who are part of the Greater Lenox Ambulance Service (GLAS) Junior Member Program recently assisted with ambulance support during this month’s Easter Egg Hunt.

Through this hands-on experience, students gain valuable insight into EMT operations and build real-world medical skills as they prepare to become GLAS volunteers—an incredible way to serve their community!

🐣🥚 Some Easter Egg Hunt fun this morning with the Village of Canastota Recreation 🐰🐇

We had a crew there to support the young scavengers in their quest for some candy-filled eggs. We even brought a friend along to show our youngest community members that ambulances aren't scary places. They are there to care for you when you are hurt or injured, making you feel better.

Thank you to EMT Cassey, Driver Angel, and Junior Associates Addison and Isaac! Our volunteers and paid staff are the heart of the agency.
