BOAT OPERATORS: As a reminder, it is a requirement (known as carriage requirement) that there must be a properly fitting life jacket for each person aboard a recreational vessel. Life jackets must be U.S. Coast Guard-approved, in serviceable condition and the appropriate size for the intended user. And, for a life jacket to be effective, it must be worn and zipped/buckled.
