As part of the 2026 Street Program, Dietz Dr. will be reconstructed from Gender Rd. to Greensview Village Dr. Work begins June 1. Lane restrictions and detours will be posted.

🚧 Dietz Drive Work to Begin June 1 🚧
As part of the 2026 Street Program, Dietz Drive will be reconstructed from Gender Road to Greensview Village Drive. Work begins June 1 and will be completed in two phases. Each phase takes approximately 1 week.

1) Phase 1 will be the removal and replacement of the northside of the road (westbound lane). Traffic will be restricted to eastbound only during Phase 1. The westbound lane will not be accessible for about a week.

2) Phase 2 will be the removal and replacement of the southside of the road (eastbound lane). Traffic will be restricted to westbound only during Phase 1. The eastbound lane will not be accessible for about a week.

Lane restrictions and detours will be posted. Allow extra time when travelling in the area, and seek alternate routes when possible.

💦 The Municipal Pool reopens tomorrow, May 29, and will be open daily through June 7 for members only. If you wish to visit the pool during this time, visit City Hall to complete the verification process and purchase your membership passes. The pool will open on June 8 to the public, although all visitors still need to visit City Hall to be verified.
🕒 City Hall is open Mondays - Fridays from 8 AM - 4:30 PM. There are no evening or weekend opportunities to complete verification.

The warning siren test has been cancelled for today.

FCEM&HS has canceled today's noon outdoor warning siren test for Franklin County due to expected showers and thunderstorms. If you hear the sirens, it means a Tornado Warning is in effect. Seek shelter immediately.

Free breakfast and lunch will be available at the Canal Wi******er branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library starting June 1. Meals will be served Monday-Friday. Breakfast is available from 10-11 AM, and lunch is available from 3:45-4:30 PM. Check with library staff for more information.

FREE SUMMER MEALS are coming back to the library 🍽️🌟

Starting Monday, June 1, kids and teens can get free meals at select library locations thanks to Children's Hunger Alliance. Some branches will also offer breakfast or dinner options.

Meals will be available until school is back in session.
