Wednesday, 6/10/2026 - Montgomery St between Wagner Square (Church St/Rt 10) and Mitchell St will be closed to traffic while repairs are completed on a building facade, from 9am until 1:30pm.

Please use East Main St and Mitchell St to bypass the closure if traveling to East Hill.

The closure should end before CCSD releases in the afternoon.

Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief is delayed! Scheduled viewing hours will be Monday only from 4 to 7PM.

An update as of 6/6 at 2:40pm from Buffalo Maritime Center:

Last night, they were notified by the NYS Canal Corporation that the Waterford Flight of Locks is closed due to a mechanical issue and will remain closed until further notice. This unexpected delay has required us to adjust the Back to Buffalo Voyage itinerary.

At this time, we are unable to make our planned stops in Schenectady on 6/6 and Amsterdam on 6/7. They will proceed directly to Amsterdam for their previously planned day at that port on 6/8 once the Waterford Flight reopens.

We appreciate your patience and support, and will continue to share updates as they become available. Once we’re underway, their itinerary will remain the same, and we look forward to being underway soon!

📢 Residents can now make ACH/e-check payments through our new CivicPay online system for water and sewer bills only.

ACH payments allow residents to securely pay directly from their bank account through the online portal.

Residents may now:
✔ Make debit/credit card payments
✔ Make ACH/e-check payments directly from a bank account
✔ View account balances and billing history online

🇺🇸 Village Office Closure Notice 🇺🇸

Please be advised that the Village Office will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Due to the holiday, garbage pickup will be adjusted as follows:

🚮 West Hill — Tuesday
🚮 East Hill — Wednesday

Additionally, the Village Office will be open to the public on Friday, May 29, 2026 - 8 AM to 12 PM, to allow residents the opportunity to make payment on the due date for water/sewer bills.
