With a little nip in the air this week, it’s a good reminder that winter really isn’t that far away!

If you’re a homeowner here in the Northeast Kingdom, this may be worth checking out. HEAT Squad is offering home energy audits for just $50 for most qualifying homeowners, along with some pretty substantial rebates for weatherization projects.

The energy audit looks at ways you can keep the cold air out, keep the warm air in, lower your energy bills, and make your home more comfortable and healthy. Afterward, you’ll receive a written report with recommendations, help prioritizing which improvements will give you the most bang for your buck, information on contractors, and assistance connecting your project with available Efficiency Vermont rebates.

And take a look at the income guidelines on the graphic—you may be surprised by how many households qualify.

It’s not too late to schedule an audit this month and get a jump on winter! Check out the information below for details and contact information.
